No Loyalty

LOYALTY

1. the state or quality of being loyal; faithfulness to commitments or obligations.
2. faithful adherence to a sovereign, government, leader, cause, etc.
3. an example or instance of faithfulness, adherence, or the like: a man with fierce loyalties.

I want to put something in the minds of others. We have completely lost the whole concept of loyalty and what being loyal means, so I put the definition. Loyalty is something that young people no longer have. It is truly a dog eat dog world. The people that you say are your friends are the same people you turn your back on when you're arguing. The people who constantly do things for you are the same people you turn your back on. How can you throw someone under the bus because you have an argument? Yet, ten minutes ago you were calling them your friend? Real friends work to make amends and figure things out. Sometimes you have to make moves in different directions but at the end of the day, real friends make real decisions to continue their friendships. In order for me to not get too personal, I am going to leave you with this thought: WHO are you loyal to? WHO do you expect loyalty from?
